BARON SAYS HIS FAREWELLS TO ENERGIE AND LOKOMOTIVE

As Coach and Owner of ENERGIE SPARTANS FC and TSV SPARTANS LOKOMOTIVE, I must say that I was very happy with our performance in the season.
There's many positives to take away from our playing!
First, Energie taught us that winning isn't everything. In fact, it really means nothing at all to you guys.
I was proud to watch pretty much every game pursued with the same vigor and intensity as the last.
With few exceptions.
And that says volumes about the type of players that were on ENERGIE.
It was all about self improvement and fun, sweating it out and attempting to relive past athletic days.
To Terry and Scott go the numerous kudos in getting the team to that level.
I can't wait to see what comes next season!
Second, Lokomotive taught us that improvement is an arduous process.
Learn, Adapt and Overcom (our motto) was instilled within the Black Shirts.
After a under achieving first half, our heroes stormed back with a great second half record.
We had our share of blow outs!
We had our share of memorable moments.
Including the REF that made his own rules...who could forget that guy.
Trevor, you did me a great favour this season, and it won't be forgotten.
Craig...get better and rest up!
Overall, though, I must say that once you gelled, there were few teams better.
To both teams, the Baron salutes you!
