SPARTANS BLACK WIN ANOTHER

YELLOW BACKS FALL SHORT IN TOUGH GAME

Always a great game against the Spartan Teams

The on pitch action was fast and furious, as the two Spartan teams did battle as only good friends could.

"I'm always pleased to pit brother vs brother," said Baron in a post game scrum," and this is no exception."

Once again, the Blacks worked to potential, utilizing superior team work to shut Yellow down and limit their options.

"Black was really good on their level," stated Yellow Captain Anders."They controlled the pitch, lulled us in and then counter attacked."

"Yellow played very well, and we were lucky to walk away with the 4-2 result," admitted Captain Scott of the Blacks.

The difference between the two were the actions taken on field.

Black continued to work as a team, cutting Yellow's chances at passing and moving the ball around.

Good communication was key, and Yellow was often sent scrambling on the defense after a squandered attempt at net.

There was also a difference in Keepers, with Trevor maintaining a shut out until the very last few minutes.

"Overall it's a great time to try new tactics, and strengthen those habits we've found that work." Baron offered both teams.
