HEART BREAK LOSS

SPARTANS FIELD TEN MEN AND GET SENT HOME SLAUGHTER STYLE

POST GAME ANALYSIS:

There's not much to criticize.

For the first half we were right in the game.
First goal against us was when we were still a man down.
Second goal was an error.

Fact is, until the flood gates opened, we were never far away from winning.
At about the 65min, I could tell the team was bagged.

WHAT WE DID RIGHT:

We kept to the sides, which seems to really suit us.
When we completed left or right flank attacks, we quickly got the ball up and a possible shot on net.
In fact, we had their defense spread out so much, that only bad luck meant we didn't score.

We kept to quick passes.
We did some great communicating out there.

WHAT WE FAILED TO DO:

I'll keep this short, since a lot had to do with limited manpower.

When we have the ball, let's not just boot it up the field.
Doing a simple boot gives us a 50-50 moment.
Get your confidence up...unless you're last man, hold the ball, bring it up for passes.
Getting rid of it usually means they'll get the ball and bring it back to you.

We need to practice better shooting.
I like the fact that we get lots of shots on or at the net.
But we need to be more mindful of quality shots now.
It would make a big difference if we can get 1-2 goals a game from outside the 18.

IN SUMMARY:

Let's hope that we have more people on field this week.

SUMMARY:
Kyle (A)
Kevin (G)
