INDOOR SOCCER STARTS

CAPTAIN JUSTIN HAS "HIGH HOPES"
Taking a Byte outta the Competition
This Sunday, on the world famed Civic Fields on Thornton, the indoor Spartans will begin the climb to fame or infamy.

"I have high hopes," said Captain Justin, who takes over from Captain Ian this year."The team is strong, we have a lot of the outdoor team with us, and a few surprises."

Ex-German National Team player The Baron expressed his excitement about the coming season.
"This is a unique opportunity for us to attone for the disaster that we committed on the pitch in the summer."

With the awards ceremony for the Outdoor Spartans only a week away, many of the summer players will be eyeing their indoor brethern with baited breathe.

"I'm happy for the team," commented Captain Ian as he boarded a plane to his winter residence in San Diego,"and wish them the best of luck...they're going to need it!"

Players should note that uniforms will be distributed on game day, this Sunday. Each member should plan to attend early! Schedules will be released Wednesday, and should be posted by Thursday.

Captain Justin, Dave and The Baron are keeping fit playing in the FAW.
"It's a unique experience," stated Commissioner Campbell,"they play so awefull on the summer pitch, but are superstars here. Maybe they should consider baseball for a summer sport."

Will Chris make an appearance in indoor after being nominated for "Flop of the Year?"
"It's a matter of work balance," revealed Chris, who scored his first ever goal this year,"and in the summer I was off balance"

Captain Justin is hoping that Trevor will retain his goal keeping wizardry.
"I'm just happy that the team will have me," replied the Spartan Goal Keeper,"after that missed penalty kick. Dammit Captain, I'm a goalkeeper, not a kicker."
